Troops kills 18 Cattle Rustlers in North western Nigeria

Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed 18 cattle rustlers with several others injured in an operation in Zamfara State.

The acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col.Sani Usman said
The troops averted what would have been anattack on Dansadau Community by the cattle rustlers.

The bandits had stormed the area in large numbers on motorcycles to attack Ruwan Today and Babba Doka Villages of Dansadau District Mari Local Government Area.

According to him,11 AK-47 rifles, one G-3 rifle,one locally made pistol, and other weapons were recovered from the bandits.
